Woman in Data Kosovo is an inclusive organization supporting women in data science and analytics. Our mission is to build a community that empowers both genders in the data and technology fields, offering resources to fuel careers. We provide hands-on projects for practical experience, along with workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities. All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome to join us in advancing the world of data science.

Metihe Kastrati/Co-Founder

Metihe Kastrati a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience spanning business development, marketing, consultancy, data analytics, and academia, is an unwavering entrepreneur dedicated to driving positive change. Her commitment lies in equipping women and girls with skills and opportunities in data and IT business, as evidenced by her co-founding of Women in Data Kosovo (WIDK) in 2019—a community focused on inspiration, connection, and growth. Metihe's profound passion for empowering women and her resolute commitment to fostering a meaningful impact stand as a testament to her inspiring journey.

Marigona Arifi/Co-Founder

Graduated Law at the University of Prishtina and has garnered substantial experience in the legal domain as a Law Assistant at the Basic Court in Mitrovica. Throughout her tenure, Marigona actively engaged with cases concerning women subjected to harassment, sexual abuse, and violence, an encounter that illuminated the significance of education and financial autonomy for women.

Dafina Arifi/Co-Founder

Dafine Arifi, a highly seasoned Senior Consultant at a prominent Kosovo-based consulting firm, brings over nine years of expertise as a Senior BPS Accountant and Lead Business Analyst specializing in Robotics Process Automation. Her skill set spans tax compliance, advisory, accounting, process enhancement, automation, digitalization, project management, and business development. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Saunders College of Business (SCB), part of the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, and a bachelor's degree from RIT Kosovo in management and economics.
